My name is Kaori Drome, founder and art director of Kaori Drome Design Studio, based in Denver, Colorado.

Born and raised in Japan, I’ve called the United States home for the past 20 years. My work is influenced by a deep appreciation for simplicity, balance, and thoughtful design—principles that continue to shape my approach to branding and visual storytelling.

With over 15 years of experience in graphic design and art direction, I create refined visual identities that help brands communicate with clarity, intention, and longevity. My work blends thoughtful strategy with timeless aesthetics to create cohesive experiences that feel both personal and enduring.

I earned my BFA in Graphic Design from Academy of Art University in San Francisco, graduating cum laude.
